Description:

• The NIBCO^® ductile iron resilient wedge gate valve provides full flow with minimal pressure drop and positive shutoff, making it a dependable choice for water works and irrigation services. The flanged, flat-face end connections allow for easy installation and accessibility across a variety of commercial, mechanical, and industrial systems. The non-rising stem design is recommended when positive shutoff is required and space is at a premium, keeping the valve height constant during operation.

• This valve features a square operating nut, allowing it to be operated with a handwheel or a standard square-nut wrench (wrench not included), making it well-suited for below-grade or remote-operation installations. The fusion bonded epoxy coated body meets NSF and FDA certification requirements, and the bolted bonnet provides convenient access for maintenance. The resilient wedge design meets or exceeds AWWA C509 and C515 performance requirements for 3 in and larger valves.
