- The NIBCO® ductile iron butterfly valve is engineered specifically to meet the rigorous requirements of automatic sprinkler and fire protection systems. Its EPDM encapsulated ductile iron disc delivers bubble-tight shutoff at rated pressure, and the internal splined stem/disc drive design eliminates the need for pins or bolts that could create leak paths or unwanted turbulence in the waterway. Grooved end connections are compatible with IPS pipe, and an extended neck allows for insulation up to 2 inches.
- This valve is Underwriters Laboratories (UL) listed and FM Approved for bubble-tight shutoff at 300 PSI water working pressure.
